Konnor's Field Trips

Konnor has been on quite a few field trips in the last few months. On this field trip, they went to the 911 CENTER and got to see the place where all of the calls come in - and learn the reasons to call 911. They also got to talk to the firefighters about fire safety.

PRIESTER'S PECANS: The kids went to Priester's Pecans and had a little tour behind the scenes of how they make their pies and all of the yummy stuff in their store. They also got to help make giant chocolate chip cookies - which was a huge hit! And each kid got to take one home!


This picture cracks me up! If you didn't know any better, you'd think these two were related! This is a kid in Konnor's class - but they both have the SAME look on their faces. They obviously were very interested in what the lady who was making the cookies had to say!

NEW BIKE HELMET: On this field trip, the kids all got new bike helmets. Here the police officer is fitting Konnor's helmet to his head to make sure it has the perfect fit!

The firemen were also there - and talked to the kids about fire safety - and then let them get on the fire truck to look around. This is a picture of Konnor coming down after taking a look around!
