Konnor had a trip to the Emergency Room a couple of weeks ago when he swallowed a button battery from a light-up pen. We weren't completely sure he had swallowed it - but he said he had (and he also told us it tasted "hot" - so we knew he for sure had it in his mouth). After calling Poison Control, they told us to go the ER to get an xray done because a battery is such a dangerous thing to swallow. So we went over - and sure enough... there was the battery right there in his stomach. (You can see it in this picture - the arrow points to it - it's that white round thing!) After about 9 days, we went back again to the ER to make sure it was gone... and it was. And so we add another fun story into the book of Konnor's life. :o)
