Nature Hike to Dauset Trails

I took the kids to Dauset Trails - about 40 miles away - for a little nature hike with the kids. It was a lot of fun. There was a nice little walking trail and we saw lots of animals - pigs, horses, cows, chickens, snakes, turtles, owls, and even a bear (enclosed in a cage, of course)! And then we had a picnic lunch. The weather was absolutely perfect and the kids are still talking about the fun they had there!
The kids kept telling me how bad the pigs smelled! They aren't as happy in this picture as they look because they wanted to leave the smelly pig area!
This is Kaylee's new little friend. They are in the same class at school and at church. They are already best little buddies! Her family came with us on the nature hike.
