Kaylee has really enjoyed learning to read in kindergarten this year. She comes home each day excited to tell me the new book she has brought home. She loves reading to any and everyone who will read with her. Most of the time, we have to sit down as her "class" and as she reads to us, she lets us see the pictures, and even licks her finger (just like her teacher at school) to turn the page. She also asks us questions about the book to make sure we are listening and on occasion (when her students are just imaginary) I hear her tell her students to sit down and listen or they will have to go back to their seats and lose priviledges. She did tell me the other day that she wants to be a teacher when she grows up! Anyway, here are a few recent pictures of Kaylee and her "students" - as well as a picture of Kendahl reading to the kids.
