When we moved here, I thought we'd never see anyone again! But that has been proven wrong - again! Our great friends, the Stettlers, who we were one of our best friends in Colorado Springs came to visit us (they are living in California now while Corban is in dental school). It was AWESOME seeing them. It's been FOUR long years! Where has time gone? It was as if no time had passed though - and we were able to meet their little boy, Carson - he's such a cute kid! And Carson informed us (via a t-shirt he was wearing when we went to pick them up in Atlanta) that he is going to be a big brother in January!
Congrats on Baby #2 Mary and Corban! Anyway, we had a great time together - and it was fun renewing our friendship with them!

Johnson's and Stettler's!

Kenna and Carson were good little buddies. We are already planning their wedding... ;)

The weather was perfect while they were here (thanks to Tropical Storm Faye). It was cloudy and overcast and rainy at times - and actually COOL - especially for August! It was the perfect time to go to Dauset Trails for a little hike and see all of the animals! Here are Corban, Mary, Carson and Kendahl feeding the fish and turtles...

Corban with Kenna and Carson on the hike.

Kenna with the black bear - it was so exciting to see him because all of the times we've been there, he has never been so close. He saw us and walked right over to us. Maybe he was hungry??

With the nice weather, we spent a lot of time outside. Here are the kids jumping on the trampoline with Corban...

Carson and Corban playing football... go Carson, go!

Corban made sure to get a practical joke in while he was here. Kendahl fell asleep on the couch one night, so Corban went and got the shaving cream and made a moustache on Kendahl. Kendahl didn't wake up or even stir...

The finished product(s)!

Corban with Kenna and Carson (the binkie babies!).

We went to the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta - it's the largest aquarium in the world. It was amazing! Here are the kids in front of one of the large windows with TONS of fish!

Kenna looking at a jellyfish...

It was amazing how big the fish were!

Kendahl and the kids in the underwater tunnel. It was so cool watching the sharks and other fish swim right over us!

Kaylee touching a crab (I can't remember the name of it).

It's easy to see how people get swallowed by whales... check out how huge that whale mouth is!

Carson and Kenna in a little tunnel made just for kids their age! The aquarium had a GREAT area for kids to run and play.

We had such a great time together! Thanks for the fun Mary, Corban and Carson! Hope to see you again soon...

You guys are so awesome! Love your blog! We wished we lived closer. Hey if you talk to Dr. Phil, tell him he is looking old! He! He!
The picture of Kendahl with the mustache is hilarious! How funny. Good times!
What fun! Awesome pictures, and I really like that you had someone else take some so we get to see you! The shaving cream mustache is the best. I am laughing out loud!
Looks like you had a blast and I love the little helper at your house. She's so cute. I'm glad that your family is living large. Sure love ya
Wow they look exactly the same!! Congrats to Mary and Corban on the new baby. I am excited for them. But I thought that Kenna was going to marry Logan?? I guess we will have to do it the old fashioned way. We will bring 10 cows in a few years.
Wow Jen! That looks like a lot of fun. I like the shaving cream mustache-classic!
