Amazing how time flies! We met the Rosbachs when we were first married almost 9 years ago. They had just married too - and lived in the same apt complex as us in Colorado Springs. The carefree days of no kids allowed us to get together often. We became great friends and enjoyed the five years we spent together in Colorado. Well, it's been four years since we've seen each other - and so they finally decided to do something we had only just talked about - come visit us! We were soooo excited to see them! And it was like no time had passed at all! Thanks for coming to visit, Phil, Shelli, Hunter, Chase and Logan! We had a blast - and hope to see you again soon!

The kids had a fun time together - and got along great!

Hunter, Konnor and Chase going miniature golfing at an indoor play place!

Kaylee and Kenna on one of the rides!

Kaylee on the train.

Chase and Kenna on the train.

We went to the peach orchard - the kids got to play on the playground first!

They got dizzy on the merry-go-round - I don't understand what is fun about doing that!

What a good lookin' family!

It was super hot and muggy outside - so we went inside and got some ice cream (it melted faster than the kids could eat it, though!)

Then we went on a tour of how they bring the peaches in from the field and get them ready to be shipped out to the stores!

Phil picking out a delicious, genuine Georgia peach!

The kids eating lunch together.

We got a babysitter and went out to dinner...

... and then went bowling! (Phil bowled a 195 - and no - none of the rest of us even came close!)

We stayed up past 1:30 am
every single night playing games and talking! (We played Settlers of Catan and Kendahl won all three times - we also played Bohnanza - a VERY fun game!)

Quick story behind this picture: when they told us a few months ago they were coming to visit, I freaked out because we didn't have a table to fit all of us! So within a week, we bought this table in anticipation of their visit (we needed it anyway - we had outgrown the tiny table we'd had since we were first married)! And so the table became the "Rosbach Table" in honor of them coming to visit us! So, finally, this is us eating dinner with the Rosbachs at The Rosbach Table!

All of the kids together the last day they were here - don't they look like they could be siblings with the blond hair? (l to r: Hunter, Kaylee, Chase, Konnor, Logan and Kenna). All of them are about the same age - so they each had a buddy to play with while they were here visiting!

Goodbye friends! Thanks for making the long trek to come see us! We miss you - and hope to see you again soon!
