We love Mary!

Our great friend, Mary, and her two kids have been staying with us off and on the past month while they wait for their house to close. They moved a couple hours south of here a few months ago - but due to unforseen circumstances they had to wait an extra month to close on their house! Since they had to move out of temporary housing on base, Corban stayed with a friend there so he could work - and we got to enjoy Mary and her kids! She was a GREAT help to me - always pitching in making dinners and cleaning and helping me reorganize! It was awesome having a friend to talk to all day long - and super fun having her kids here too and getting to know them better!

Mary celebrated her 30th birthday with us - what a treat! We made a special dinner for her (chicken enchiladas) and then had cake and ice cream. Happy Birthday, Mary! We love you and are so glad you live so close to us now! (They did finally close on their house - and are now getting settled!) We are excited to go visit them in a week or two!
